What To Expect

Wade's Green Plantation
Wade’s green is the best preserved historical plantation ruin in the Turks and Caicos Islands and is a fascinating site to see when visiting North Caicos. You will have a local guide that will take you on a tour of the Plantation.

60 minutes • Admission Ticket Included

Flamingo Pond Overlook
You’ll definitely won’t see the flamingo up close, but it’s worth a quick stop as the overlook doesn’t have any entrance fee and is found right the main Whitney highway on North Caicos.

30 minutes • Admission Ticket Free

Mudjin Harbor
Beautiful water colors and stunning views as you climb the rock.

1 hours • Admission Ticket Free

Conch Bar Caves
This is the only cave ( other than the nearby open gallery Indian cave) in the Turks and Caicos Island open to tourism. There’s been very little actual access development done to the cave, mainly a stone path leading into the system m. This cave is interesting, but does not offer any particularly unique or impressive features when compared to other caves found throughout the world.

Good exploration tour in North / Middle Caicos
Taratip J, 31-12-2022
Very nice experience tour. Betty was a great and knowledgeable guide. We went to Wade’s green plantation, Flamingo pods (we saw lots of flamingos in the distance using the provided binoculars), Conch bar cave that we saw a few tiny bats sleeping in the holes. Then we had lunch at a beachside restaurant. The food was awesome! And we had a short walk and spend some time relaxing at the amazing Mudjin Harbor beach.
A Friendly, Educational and Enriching Experience

I was very impressed with the kindness and jovial nature of the guides we met on this tour.
We had a number of families together on the tour and everyone was very helpful and accommodating.
Betty, Tracy and Renico were excellent drivers/guides. We always felt safe and confident with Renico at the wheel. He patiently drove in the Suburban down paved and unpaved roads, with considerations for the random pothole.
Betty's humor was very refreshing and was a good complement to our groups energy level.
Tracy went above and beyond to help make sure one couple with an infant could enjoy the caves and the private beach near Mudjin Harbor.
Jennifer was our guide for the plantation and the Bat Caves. Her clear and easily understandable way of explaining the history of the area was definitely a highlight of my tour experience. She was very Knowledgeable and freely shared wonderful information about local flora and fauna. She fearlessly led us through the bat caves and helped even the smallest of kids (4) enjoy the darkness and helped quell any fears about the bats; they only eat fruit and/or insects.

Thank you to the whole team for such an enjoyable experience. The views are stunning and this tour comes Highly Recommended.
This is a trip worth taking!

This tour was educational and a whole lot of fun.
Our tour guides Betty, Tracy, Jennifer, and Renico were absolutely phenomenal. They were flexible with our groups needs, and were informed and entertaining. Each went above and beyond. So much so that Renico literally saved the day by catching our boss when she slipped down some stairs.
We really enjoyed the lush vegetation in North Caicos. I was so happy to be able to photograph a few bats in the Conch Caves, and we were pleasantly surprised by the lack of mosquitoes in the caves.
Lunch overlooking dragon rock was absolutely divine, and we were able to visit a private hidden beach after lunch. The flamingos we saw at the lake were gorgeous, and the views on the whole trip are stunning. Our group gleefully swapped bracelet charms after visiting all of the treasures hunt spots, and it was a true delight.
If you have the time, and want the whole island experience, do yourself a favor and take this tour.
Spending time at the beach was phenomenal, but better understanding the rich culture of these islands was the cherry on top.

This was our first time in T&C and we wanted some history plus views we did not want to do on our own. Betty did not disappoint. She was friendly, attentive, energetic, knowledgeable, funny, and made the tour fantastic.
A good way to explore the island.

Discovery Tour
The tour operator told us we would be picked up at 8:55 in the lobby and when we got there at 8:50 we were delighted they were already waiting for us with an almost full van. The van driver checked us in and did not say another word until we disembarked at the ferry dock. Apparently you’re meant to go into the small house at the ferry dock and check in. Remember to do that if you take the tour. We boarded a ferry only to have our tour guide, Betty come searching for us! We took the 30 minute ride across the water without her and with that most of our group. When we disembarked she collected us into a group and we set off in another van.
Betty drove the van. She’s clearly an excellent, safe driver. She answered any questions we asked her and had some basic information about each stop. But I was wishing for more information since this was the only cultural tour we were taking during our beach vacation.
The stop to Wade’s green plantation was interesting. Again I would’ve liked even more information than the guide provided, although she did answer my myriad of questions. It is a lovely walk and I think important to see some thing historical on the island. The walkabout was short and easily manageable for most people. Wear comfortable shoes and put on bug spray.
The flamingo pond stop was nothing more than a moment of pulling off the highway to see flamingos way in the distance with Binoculars.
These scenic beach stops were gorgeous and fabulous for taking photos.
We signed up for this tour principally for the Conch Bar Cave stop. The same tour guide who helped us at the plantation led the tour of the cave. She had interesting but minimal information. I would’ve liked to understand more about the geology, the discovery and the preservation of the ecosystem. They have teeny bats that look like small mice with wings. Of course we were touring during the day so they were asleep in deep holes in the ceiling of the cave. The cave walk is short but presents slip and fall risks for people who are not steady on their feet. Shoes with treads are best.
Betty took us to a marvelous Beachside restaurant for lunch. I had a grilled lobster tail with sweet potato fries which has been my best meal in three days on TCI.
There is absolutely no treasure hunt aspect to the tour. I chose this specific tour because I thought my daughter might enjoy having the activity as we flowed through these different sites. They did give us little charms for a bracelet as prizes as we went to each site but that does not constitute a treasure hunt. I do wish they would change the name as to not disappoint.
Because we were visiting several beaches we wore bathing suits on the tour thinking that we would go into the water. That was incorrect . You’ll be better served by wearing a T-shirt and shorts with sneakers or any other comfortable shoes. When we called the day before to ask what we should bring they recommended towels which were also completely unnecessary.
They have water and drinks available in the van you do not need to bring your own. Pack suntan lotion, bug spray, sunglasses, a hat and some tip money. No need to carry anything else.
All in all I’m glad we took the store. Betty is delightful. She is genuine and sincere and will happily answer any questions you ask. I am glad we had the chance to spend half a day with her!
