GO NATIVE! Take a journey into the culinary culture of the Turks and Caicos as we take you on an informative, scenic and relaxing full day sailing adventure. Experience true sailing and an educational guided snorkel tour of the worlds third largest barrier reef, visit with and learn about Sandy & Rocky the indigenous rock iguanas, tour the beautiful half moon bay sandbar and lagoon, search the shallows for baby bonefish, turtles, barracuda, turtles, rays and sometimes flamingoes. Enjoy a relaxing swim or snorkel the patch reefs in the shallows where you fill find anemones amongst other reef fish. Sail, Snorkel the barrier reef, visit rock Iguanas and enjoy a mouth-watering beach barbecue of charcoal grilled lobster (when in season and available) or fish, chicken, ribs, burgers, local peas, rice, salad and all inclusive OPEN BAR on a beach. After lunch, relax, swim, snorkel then hoist the sails and cruise into the evening sun. Beach location may vary based on weather conditions.

What To Expect

Grace Bay Beach

Board our vessel for your sailing and snorkelling adventure and make yourself comfortable as we set out on one of the most fun adventures available in Turks & Caicos.Follow one of our experienced local guides on one of the most beautiful guided snorkel tours as we snorkel and explore the Leeward Reef, one of the healthiest living reefs in the Atlantic. You will see the usual residents like Snappers, Groupers, Sergeant majors, Trigger fish, Barracuda, Needle fish and sometimes Sharks Rays and Turtles. Leeward Reef is part of the Turks and Caicos Barrier reef network which is the third largest barrier reef system in the world. There is always a huge flow of water going through the reef, this water movement carves out a maze of valleys, tunnels, caverns and archways making it one of the most scenic reefs in the world. Only experienced snorkelers allowed to explore the tunnels.

Half Moon Bay

Our guides will take you ashore and take you on a nature tour, a guided walking tour of this natural sandbar. This area which is home to a large family of Native Rock Iguanas, is surrounded by a series of sandbars resulting in a shallow lagoon area at the back. Our guides will take you for a walk along the lagoon, explain to you how the sandbar was formed and give you a bit more information about the area, history of the islands etc. During this part of the nature walk guides will point out baby turtles, baby sharks, bonefish, barracuda, mojarra and sometimes rays and flamingoes. Whilst guests take the nature tour the other crew members set up the grill and create a beach barbecued meal fit for a king. Lunch includes Lobster(when in season) barbecued and grilled Chicken, Ribs, Salad, Peas and rice, Burgers and an open bar. Beer, soft drinks and mixed drinks are included. Lunch is served island style either on the boat or barefoot on the beach.*Location may change based on weather

Little Water Cay

We do not stop at both Little Water Cay and Half Moon Bay. The location chosen is dependent on the weather. Both Islands are home to the native Rock Iguanas but Little Water Cay is where the National Trust operate their guided tours at a cost of $10 cash per person.

Best Day Ever with Captain Wayne and Reggie!

After postponing our trip to Turks and Caicos for two years due to the pandemic, we finally arrived on the island last week. We chartered a 7 hour private catamaran sail, snorkel and beach BBQ and I am so glad that we did. We were a group of 11 with ages ranging from 72 to 7. There was something for everyone on the trip and Captain Wayne and Reggie were super friendly and accommodating. They shared the history of the island, let us set the agenda for the day, and provided the best meal of the trip. They took pictures for us and underwater footage of our snorkeling trip. They were great with our kids, easy to talk to, and were patient and kind.

I can't say enough about how grateful I am for the gift they gave us - the day was amazing and everything we hoped for and more.

Fantastic experience on the 7hr private catamaran adventure! Captain Mike and crew Brent and Flo were fun and knowledgeable, they went above and beyond to make our day memorable. They made sure we saw lots of sea life on the snorkeling portion, entertained us on the boat, and cooked an amazing local caught lunch right on the beach. The best way to see the Island, we will definitely book them again!

We have done the private sailing and beach picnic day with Ocean Vibes for 4 separate trips now, and we are already looking forward to our next one. Wayne, Reggie and now Brent are wonderful! The snorkeling is amazing, the food can’t be beat, and we can always trust they’re doing everything in their power to help us have the best day of our trip to Turks & Caicos. Of all the beautiful places in the world, Turks & Caicos is our favorite. Of all the favorite things we like to do here, the 7 hour tour with Captain Wayne and Reggie is our number one, top, best, favorite, most longed for choice. This years tour wasn’t our first, and to have Reggie remember my daughters favorite fish to view while snorkeling, was astounding. This is so much more than a “boat ride”. This is our opportunity to enjoy SAILING, with SAILS, and the power of the wind alone, through emerald green seas of unmatched beauty. (Anguilla is a close second for us). This is beautiful music broadcast via Bluetooth, this is sophisticated conversation with the very handsome, totally charming, brilliant Captain Wayne. (Close your eyes, and listen to his mellifluous voice, and you’d swear your speaking to WILL SMITH). The care we are given on this tour is extraordinary, almost magical, in every way. The destinations are impeccable, and when Wayne and Reggie perform their culinary brilliance on the beach with 2 barbecues and a six-foot folding table, you won’t believe your eyes. THEN TASTE THE FOOD! You are going to flip out it’s so damned delicious. All this and a fully stocked bar, and a toilet below decks! Listen, I’m not joking. This is heaven, and you haven’t lived until you experience this, and once you do, you’ll ACHE to come back and experience it again.

STOP!!! Stop right here, right now and BOOK THIS TOUR! Stop researching other companies in T&C, this one is the best, HANDS DOWN! We chartered a private catamaran sail for the day and the captain (Wayne) and crew were the best: they were very professional, friendly, and fun. They made sure we were safe but had an exceptional day. I'm sure the 1/2 day is great, but the full day includes the beach BBQ= this is a MUST. These guys know how to cook! This was, by far, the best meal we had while on the island during our stay. We got to snorkel, eat amazing food, visit Iguana Island, take photos on a beautiful beach, and swim with dolphins. There is plenty of shade on the boat for a full day tour, no need to worry about being in the sun too much. They had great snorkel equipment and plenty of water, drinks, and food. Ocean Vibes made sure that our family and friends made memories to last a lifetime. We are grateful.
